Biggest payout for Housing Market Renew goes to North Staffordshire

The biggest ever grant pay out for housing renewal goes to North Staffordshire; £114 million this year from Department of Communities and Local Government. Real progress now to report on Middleport, the local forum, and improvements underway in other areas, including Norton and Fegg Hayes.

The Government is investing £1billion of funding for Housing Market Renew programme, for housing and building stronger communities. Up to £54 million will be made available per year for the next three years in each of the twelve “Pathfinder” areas.

This investment, together with increasing investment from the private sector and support from local authorities and others, will help to further transform our community, promoting regeneration and economic growth in our constituency.
