Joan is very pleased that Burnwood Community School has been awarded a Bronze Mark by the Food for Life Partnership.

The Food for Life Partnership is now in the National Lottery Awards final in the Best Health Project category. By supporting them in winning the award will help them spread the message of the importance of good food to children and communities,

Joan is pleased to hear that the original £100,000 announced by the then Minister Vernon Coaker for James Brindley Science College when he visited has not only been provided but it was increased to £150,000
