Beat the Cold is working with Jim Gibson and Chell Heath Residents Association to run two Community Advice Events in Chell Heath in the New Year.

Stoke-on-Trent Ranger Service will be running coppicing work parties in Whitfield Valley (Ford Green Nature Reserve).

Smallthorne Village Residents Association hold monthly coffee mornings on the last Saturday of every month. The next will be the October 29th at Salem Methodist Church between 10 – 12noon, Have a drink, browse the table top sale and speak to the local police and councillor.

Smallthorne Village Residents Association AGM will be held on Wednesday 12th October at 7.30om. The residents association always welcome along new members. The AGM will be held upstairs in Salem Methodist Church.
