Re-awakening of the Burslem Branch Canal line

                              

Joan, Patron of the Burslem Port Project, went to Burslem Port to congratulate the work that has been done to finish the cleaning of Burslem Branch Canal line.

Joan presented certificates to the trainees from Project Management from the Burslem Port Project together with Stoke-on-Trent city Council, Inland Revenue and British Waterways.

Joan wanted to thank the young people for the massive task to clear the site.

Said Joan: "I wanted to thank all the young people for all the hard work but wanted to make local people aware of the port and the next step of the project to bring boats back into Burslem”.
