Environmental Audit Committee

I am Chair of the Environmental Audit Committee.
 
The Committee which at the policies of all government departments and examines how they contribute to environmental protection and sustainability. It also audits performance of departments against targets set by Ministers.

I will be representing the Committee at the international climate negotiations in Copenhagen in December.  These talks are hugely important and it is essential that we reach an ambitious set of agreements for reducing carbon emissions.  If you have any thoughts on the Copenhagen talks please do contact me so that I am able to represent your views.
